About

About London Polynucleotides

Polynucleotides are injections of purified DNA fragments that change the condition of skin rather than its shape, and this page explains what a course involves for anyone deciding whether to have one.

Skin quality and volume are different problems

A tired-looking eye has four common causes and they need different answers. Pigment sits in the skin itself, and a shadow is cast by a hollow beneath it. Fluid comes and goes with sleep and salt. Thin, crepey skin lets the vessels underneath show through, and that last one is what polynucleotides act on, because they improve the condition of the skin and add no volume at all. Most of the disappointment reported after this treatment comes from having it for a hollow, where the skin was never the problem in the first place, so the useful work happens at the assessment rather than in the syringe.

Who is behind this site

London Polynucleotides is owned and operated by the UNTIL group, which operates four private health and fitness clubs across central London and collaborates with independent practitioners who hold clinic within them. That commercial relationship is the reason the site exists, and it is precisely why the disclosure appears in the footer of every page rather than being buried in this paragraph. Where the treatment genuinely suits you, an enquiry is directed to UNTIL Health Concierge, who arrange an assessment with a registered clinician. Nobody associated with this site injects anybody, and no per-enquiry payment sits behind the introduction.

What polynucleotides will not do

They will not fill a hollow. A tear trough that has lost volume needs volume put back, and polynucleotides add none, which is why an eye treated for the wrong reason can look no better afterwards and occasionally looks heavier. They will not lift tissue or sharpen a jawline, and they will not level a deep, sharply defined acne scar, although the skin around one often improves. One session on its own rarely does much either: the change comes from a course, it builds over roughly eight weeks, and it wears off, so a completed course generally holds for six to nine months before it is repeated.
